College Station Birth Photographer | Nolan

As a birth photographer, I see and experience all kinds of amazing things. Not often, though, do I get to see a doctor allow a dad to deliver his first born son in the hospital setting. Forget the fact that Dad is an EMT, it was still amazing to see the doctor coaching him through this delivery as if he were an intern. My favorite part was watching his face go from pure excitement of being able to deliver his first baby (forget that it was his own son) to tears of joy in the fact that it was indeed his son and he got to be the first one to meet him and hand him over to Mom. You really have to look at the pictures to see the change of emotions. So sweet. This little guy was in a rush to make his appearance. At 37 weeks, Mom arrived at the hospital and in hours without any intervention to speed the labor process up, she was complete and ready to get the show on the road. We truly all thought that we were going to get though the night of Mom laboring on her own and then have a baby first thing in the morning. Of course, Nolan had his own agenda.

This couple was very dear to my heart allowing me to venture back to my college town to capture their birth story. Nolan was a dream to photograph when I went back for his newborn pictures. Mom got the opportunity to relax while I "stole" him and worked my magic in the other room. Thank you for letting me help you tell Nolan's story. I will truly enjoy watching him grow!
