A couple of weeks ago I got this wonderful call from the owner of Texas Dogs & Cats Magazine. She was in dire need of a photographer to go out and do a cover shot for her May issue. I jumped all over it and made it out to meet Dash. All cover shots feature dogs or cats who have been rescued and adopted. Dash had been rescued and adopted through Happy Cat Adoptions and I have to say he has landed a wonderful home. :)

Here’s Dash. You can also check him out on the May Issue of Texas Dogs and Cats. You will see him on he cover and on the centerfold (ooh-la-la, Meee-ow!) Lol!

I long awaited the birth of this little one, only to hear that she made her appearance shortly before our trip to Mexico. So, I had to wait until our return before getting another opportunity to cuddle with another brand new babe. As with most of my newborn sessions, little {V} decided she did not want to miss anything during her first photo shoot, so she refused to sleep for the first couple of hours. Her sweet little eyes would close and you could see her little eyebrows try to do everything they could to open them back up.

She sure did make her mom and I jump through hoops as well. We were constantly feeding and cleaning, feeding and cleaning. She finally gave in and settled down long enough for me to grab some sweet angelic shots.

Thank you for choosing me to capture these precious moments for you. I was so honored to photograph your maternity session and then this newborn session.

Enjoy your sneakity-peek!

I had the opportunity to photograph {J} on Saturday morning for his senior pictures. He has quite the accomplishments to boast… wrestling champ, scholarship to Texas A&M University for all of his work in Scouts, etc. It was really nice to get around a “kid” that recognized all of the hard work he put in and is now getting to see how it has paid off.

Congratulations {J} and good luck in the Corp and being a part of the Fighting Texas Aggie Class of ’14! I sure miss that place. :)

This little one is not new in any way to the blog. Here he is now at 9 months and even cuter than ever. I am still mesmerized by his piercing eyes. He is one big chunk of cuteness who is now semi-crawling (so sorry about that one, Mom :) ) and pulling up. It is so neat to watch these kiddos grow and it sure helps keep my baby-fever at bay. Lol! We headed out to Chappell Hill this time around and I was so pleased with all of the great locations.

Here’s your sneakity-peek! I am so glad I got to spend some time with him yesterday. That one year birthday will be here before you know it. ;)

There is nothing better than a family that is willing to let loose during a photography session and just be… well… them. We played lots of games of peekaboo, ran around, had jumping contests and best of all ring around the rosie. I really enjoyed how casual this session was and how laid back Mom and Dad were. I had such a hard time picking pictures for the peek, so this may be a long one. :P

Thank you {P} Family for choosing me to photograph your beautiful family and, better yet, your adorable children.

Yes, the life of a 2 year old is so rough. Lol! A day filled with exploring barefoot in a beautiful dress looking at fountain after fountain. What a life!

Lucky for me, this little cutie isn’t very used to wearing dresses of any kind, so I think it slowed her down a bit. My usual 2 year old sessions leave me sweating  as they have me running around all over the place. She was very calm and contained and such a little doll.

Thank you for letting me get the opportunity to spend time with your sweet girl today, oh and for photographing her, too. :)
