Just wanted to share with all of you that Wee Wuns Weekday Ministries will be having their 21st Annual Fall Festival and Silent Auction. It is this Saturday from 10-2. It is loads of fun for the kids. The Silent Auction is huge with over 60 items donated from local businesses as well as over 30 themed baskets (cars, UT, Texas A&M, crafts, scrapbooking, etc) up for bid.

Along with the silent auction are games, food, costume contest, bake sale, etc.

You don’t want to miss out! If you stop by the silent auction, you will see that I am auctioning off a session complete with a 16×20 print as well as one of my 16×20 whimsical frames to put it in. I will have an example of the frame up at the auction so that you can check out this new item. Make sure you stop by and join in on all of the fun!

It has been a while since I have done a session of such a young family. I forget how much you have to stay on your toes for those little ones. With one being barely 3 and the other near 18 months, I had my work cut out for me. I love it, though, and wouldn’t trade my job for anything.

I could tell mom was a little nervous about getting the boys to cooperate. Yes, cooperate. The words “boys” and “cooperate” shouldn’t be used in the same sentence very often. They feed off each other. I was so happy that this family turned out to be really relaxed during the whole session. Mom and Dad even listened when I told them to stay put so that I could run off with the boys and capture them by themselves.

Don’t worry mom, boys are active, but it does get easier. There is nothing better than being a boy mom. :)

It is hard to believe that little {B} was the very first kiddo that I photographed before taking the plunge and going into business. She was just shy of being a year old then and now she’s 2.5 and her hair still prettier than ever.

These two pumpkins met me at Cypress United Methodist Church for a quick Fall Mini Session. Loved their matching shirts. {B} had me laughing because every time I got near her with the camera she would give me this Popeye look which was her way of setting up for a smile. Too funny!

Oh, and I know I have had a lot of blue-eyed cuties on the blog lately and Miss {M} adds to that list. Gorgeous!

I had a busy weekend of fall sessions. We went to Cypress United Methodist Church. My boys go to preschool there and they have such an adorable pumpkin patch every year. If you haven’t gotten your pumpkins this year, I highly recommend visiting their patch.

This little guy was actually wearing the same shirt as one of my other little clients from earlier in the week. He was so cute decked out in his Gap jeans and Chucks. I could just squeeze him. His mom and I have very similar taste in clothing for little boys. Just comes with being a boy mom, I guess. You don’t have any little girls to fuss over, so you make sure your boys are dressed to the 9′s. :) Little man and family are anxiously awaiting the arrival of another little man who is due Christmas Day.

Wow what a crazy few weeks it has been. The life of 4 and 5 year old sports has consumed us. Loving it though! Have I mentioned how much I love Fall? It is absolutely my favorite time of the year, and thanks to my allergist, I can now enjoy it with a clear head. Fesitivals, food, weather, you name it, I love it.

Something else I get excited about are needing to wear thing to warm my toes. There is just something comforting in walking around in slippers, just makes me feel warm and cozy. Being in Houston, we get occasional nights between now and winter that get cool (not cold) enough to want to snuggle up. Sweater weather I should say.

Today I am thrilled to announce Jenster76 Designs! She sent me a couple of items from her shop and I love them! I told her to surprise me with the colors on the slippers (as I always do) and she sent me these yummy Pumpkin Latte slippers. Orange on the bottom and a latte (no other way to describe it) on top. I was super surprised on how soft they are and how comfortable they are walking around the house. She has a slew of colors in her etsy shop, but the sky is the limit when you go to make your request.

She also threw in a drink sleeve. I had to throw it on my large non-sweating cup since I personally don’t drink coffee, but know someone who frequents Starbucks, so it will make the best stocking stuffer.

She has lots of fun stuff in her shop. I personally love the apple cardigans. Used them as teacher gifts. You can find her by going to her Etsy shop or her facebook fan (like) page.

You will not be disappointed!

I grabbed a hold of this cutie this morning. I am so lucky to have been able to photograph {C} ever since he was 6 weeks old. It has been a while since I have seen him, so I was shocked (even though I knew he is well over a year old) that he is walking. Why do they grow so fast?

My blog has been flooding with blue-eyed cuties, and we aren’t going to stop here. This one has always shown me just how stunning those eyes are.

One of the favorite parts of my job is being able to find little random locations wherever I am. Sure, there are a ton out there that many photographers frequent, even I do, but every now and then I find a random one for a quick session and fall in love with it. Who knew that a small corner of a baseball park could turn out like this?

Here’s {C}, yet another blue-eyed beauty that has come upon my blog. She has clear blue eyes, and you better watch out because she has been known to lock them onto you and pick up every move you make. The ears and eyes on this kid are amazing. (mostly in a good way, but sometimes you forget how much she picks up) Lol!

Last, but not least, I have been talking up a storm about a new product I have to offer. Here is a big hint as to what it is. Details will follow soon, as well as information on where you can find the silent auction to get one of these, a full session and a print to go in it. LOVE them! Pictures from my wall soon to come!

Nothing says Fall quite like football, pumpkins, great weather and adorable attire. I was able to get a taste of all of that yesterday when I met up with {T} for his 6 month session. I have to say, my favorite stage is when babies hit 6-12 months. Their little personalities start to shine through. Little man here has had no problems in the past… peeing on me as a newborn and showing his many faces at 3 months. It is so fun to see him every few months to see what new things he has in store for me and our session. Yesterday was everything that I love about the fall and boys.
