…and you don’t throw a fit! 
I had plans to meet this family outside of Tomball at the great little gem where I took pictures of the family in the wild flowers last week. Just-Last-Week. As in 10 days ago. I show up today, and there are no flowers. None. Luckily for me, they showed up in a relaxed mindset and were as easy going as could be about it. Not only were they easy going, they came with love and happiness just pouring out. It makes my heart jump every time I go back to my computer and see pictures like these.

So, this last one was fun. We were at the edge of a busy road and I wanted Mom and Dad to get a picture of just the two of them without stressing out about the kids going in the road. So I kept Little Miss at my side, put Little Man in one arm and one-handed snapped some shots of the love birds. So cute! Definitely worth the work.

Another bittersweet session for me. I made the drive over to this sweet little girl’s house knowing it wold be the end of our every-3-month gatherings. Baby girl is 1 year old this week. It was time to embrace it, and she embraced it… the cake that is. Miss {V} is the first baby to actually pick up her entire cake (cakeboard and all) and bring it to her face. Lol!!! So cute!
Happy birthday baby girl!!! Here’s a look at her over the past year.
Now onto her 12 month session. 
It took a lot of distracting to get her to let go of this duck. Every time I would try to grab it, she would squeeze him as tight as she could. So cute! I had to stick one in there, Mom. You will forget the little things like this.

We originally had plans to meet up somewhere out 290 to do an urban session ending in the Bluebonnets. Well, an hour before the session I got a call saying that it would be better to change locations, so we found something very last minute and I couldn’t be happier that we did! We didn’t come across any Bluebonnets at our new location, but found plenty of wild flowers to play in.
I sneaked a sneak on Facebook earlier today. Love that kid! He is such a mess. Plenty of running around, jumping around and insisting on throwing some baseballs to me at the end of the session. I missed way more than he did.
I had such a hard time picking pictures to show on the blog, but think I have narrowed it down enough. Lol!

I am so excited for this couple as they near the end of their pregnancy. They are expecting their first baby and a little girl at that. Mom is glowing in these last couple of months and you can tell how nurturing dad is following her every move. So cute to watch!
We headed out to a nearby park to enjoy the beautiful Spring weather. It was a tad windy, but we made it work.
I am so excited to get the call that Baby Girl is here! See you soon!

I know, I know. I am not supposed to be doing sessions until March, BUT I do have clients that are on a Baby Plan, so I couldn’t resist the chance to go out and see Little Miss {V} since she is now 9 months. I know I probably say this about every age, but 9 months is one of my absolute favorite months to photograph! This is the time that they are not only interactive with you, but they have become mobile. Every baby is different in their own way. Well, this little one has finally started crawling in what we call “the normal way” because before that she would scoot on her little tush all over the place. I love it! She did it during our session and it is one of the cutest things I have ever seen.
I sadly await our next session when we do her Smash the Cake session. It will be messy and blissful, but also bittersweet since it will end our every-3-month gatherings.

So, I am kind of addicted to labor and delivery. I was one of those that was ready to do it all over again the minute that my boys were born. It is an amazing experience to think that you carried this beautiful child for 9+ months and then all of a sudden you get to meet them. Hearing your child cry for the first time is a feeling that I cannot describe.
I was so lucky to be able to capture labor and delivery of a family that is very close to mine. Not everyone is comfortable with this, so I was very pleased to find out that “Dad” was going to give in and let me be there.
Not only did I get to help welcome this sweet little girl into the world, but I was also able to journal all of the little things that went on during the delivery, both on paper and through photography. As parents you quickly get caught up in the excitement and the poking a prodding that it is nice to know you have someone there to capture everything to help you remember.
I put together a slideshow of Sweet Baby Addisyn’s arrival! Welcome to the world and congrats to Mom and Dad and her two older sisters.

I have not laughed as hard as I did during this session in a long time. The girls were super cute and silly and such a mess by the end of the session. Not to mention Dad giving everyone, including the girls scouts that were scouting near by, a huge show. I don’t even want to mention the things that were going on. Needless to say we had a very memorable session.
I still cannot believe that Mom is 37 weeks! She looks so tiny and adorable! I am anxiously awaiting girl #3 to make her appearance.

So, I got a call from this mom asking to set up a Holiday Session for her family. Com to find out she is also a photographer. (Amanda Faucett Photography ~ www.amandafaucettphotography.com) There is nothing better than being asked by another photographer to take their pictures. It truly is a nice warm and fuzzy feeling.
I met up with them Sunday evening along with about 4 or 5 other photogs that were at the location. 
I chatted it up about Spiderman and also developed quite the relationship with her daughter. She wanted me to carry her around everywhere while she pointed at random people and told me their name (or what she thought was their name, Lol!)
The weather turned out to be perfect and I really enjoyed playing around with the kids, but this is no new news.

Take a look at these cuties! Have you ever seen dimples like these? I mean little {C} looks like a porcelain doll. So stinking cute!
I knew I had my work cut our for me on this session. I photographed Miss {C} a year ago when she was around a year old and mom was mighty preggo. Now, this year little brother joins us. Considering the fact that he was walking at 10 months old, I knew I would be running around all over the place to keep up with these two. Don’t worry, Mom, I know having a 2 year old AND a 1 year old isn’t easy now, but it DOES get better.

So, I met up with this cute family to do a quick holiday session yesterday. We were just out walking around when a skunk was spotted. I have never seen a live skunk before, so I thought the only smart thing to do would be to try and sneak up on it and get a closer look and take a picture. I got just close enough for the skunk’s comfort because the tail went up and he proceeded to take a few steps towards me like he was ready to attack (AKA spray). Something that does not happen at every session. Luckily we were able to distract the pup and keep her eyes away from it. Lol! That would have been a disaster.
I really enjoyed doing this session. We did quite a lot of walking and talking and luckily it wasn’t very cold outside. Made for a very relaxing session.
