Bringing this sweet girl home was not an easy journey. A very long bedrest, C-Section and a stay in the NICU are just to name a few. I want to give special thanks to Michaela Hansen with Michaela Hansen Photography for being there the day sweet Kenlee was welcomed into this world, since I was not able to make it. I was very happy to be a part of the happy ending when Mom and Dad finally got to bring this beautiful baby home.

Kenlee, like all of our children, you will never quite know just how much you are loved! I am so glad to see you have made it home.

Thanks to a great Doula, Kathleen Wilson with the Labor Enabler, I had the opportunity of meeting this great couple. I immediately fell in love with them when I met with them during our face to face and was extremely excited to hear that Dad had written a lullaby for their daughter that he wanted to use during the slideshow. From there, it was a matter of waiting for sweet Eden to decide when she was ready to grace us with her appearance. Whew! Wait we did!!! Baby girl finally started giving us signs around 42 weeks. We thought we were in for a easy night when she showed up at Nativity Birth Center fully dilated. Little did we know that Eden had her own plans. Mom did an amazing job throughout the night, fighting through exhaustion and pain. By morning the decision was made for a transport to a nearby hospital. Shortly after we were finally able to welcome sweet Eden into the world. Baby girl shares the birthday of my youngest son Ace. It was a great day to be born!
