Houston Birth Photographer | Grant

Can you imagine the feeling of sitting at 5+ centimeters dilated for weeks? I have mixed feelings considering she got there without any recollection of having contractions. Not. fair. This mama was supposed to have a prenatal appointment on Tuesday, but on instinct, moved it up to Monday. Good thing she did because she found out she was now 6 cm and with a slightly elevated bp. She arrived at the hospital a little before 5, got her water broken at 5:30 and delivered her beautiful 8 lb 1 oz baby just 5 hours later. It was a bit tense for mom after Grant was born, but luckily healing set in and mom recovered well.

I was so excited for this delivery because I was there just a few months earlier when her brother and sister in law welcomed their 2nd baby. I just love this family. :)

Happy birthday, Buddy!
